Blaenavon World Heritage Centre joins Head 4 Arts in raising awareness of environmental issues through the WWF Earth Hour Campaign

WWF’s Earth Hour is an annual global celebration where people switch off their lights for one hour to show they care about the future of our planet.

One small act such as this can make a difference, by us all making small life style changes it will help to protect our planet and preserve it for future generations.

In support of this campaign, from Tuesday 16th – Friday 19th February Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and Library will be hosting a series of environmental craft activities and story telling sessions to raise awareness of environmental issues.

On Saturday 20th February families are invited to come along and take part in a vox pop session being filmed completing the sentence ‘Imaging a world without…’ the completed film will be screened as part of an Earth hour event here on the evening of March 19th
