BLAENAVON has become the latest town on the Velothon Wales route to embrace the cycling sportive after decorating the streets with upcycled bikes.
The Blaenavon World Heritage Committee challenged town businesses to create their own cycling showpieces in preparation for last weekend’s successful Blaenavon World Heritage Day.
The nine pieces of cycling artwork were displayed for visitors who arrived to for the annual celebration on Saturday.
Bikes were donated by Changing Gears, a Torfaen-based youth project that aims to train young people in bike maintenance and cycle training.
