As part of Wales Sustainability Week, the Forgotten Landscapes team will be leading a walk to the Dragon’s Teeth micro hydro system in Blaenavon on 24^th May at 7.00pm. 

Using water from the Afon Lwyd this ground breaking new system is now generating ‘renewable’ electricity which is already reducing the electricity bills at the World Heritage Centre and providing a source of income for heritage projects.  If you, or your group, would like to learn more about how the system works and how you can install and benefit from similar technologies then please book a place on the walk by contacting the World Heritage Centre: blaenavon.tic@torfaen.gov.uk| / 01495 742333
