Easter at Blaenavon

Blaenavon World Heritage Centre is hosting an exciting week of Easter activities between 29 March and 2 April. Pam Killick of Chocs Away will be leading chocolate making workshops, where you will be able to make your own hand-dipped chocolate truffles. An Easter Egg Hunt will also be taking place for children and there will be an Easter menu at Heritage Café. Booking is not necessary for any of these activities and they are all free!

This follows a busy two months at the World Heritage Centre, in which thousands of schoolchildren have been welcomed on educational visits and activities. The centre has hosted a variety of workshops and events which have attracted hundreds, including a Wedding Fayre in January, St. Valentine’s Day meals, craft workshops, informative plays and walks.

From 8 March to 1 May, the Blaenavon Male Voice Choir will be displaying an exhibition marking their centenary and award-winning artist, Suzie Horan, is running Copper Jewellery Workshops on 20-21 March – all free.
