Living Landscape Lectures - From Bottom to Top

Living Landscape Lectures - From Bottom to Top

For the month of January the Living Landscape series of lectures brings you a talk on "From Bottom to Top" – an exciting journey into the world of climbing. The event forms part of a series of lectures and activities complementing the Valleys Heart and Soul Campaign and is supported by the Valleys Regional Park Programme with aid from the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.

Taking place on Tuesday 10 January at the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre at 7pm, this month’s lecture is hosted by Aber Rocks Indoor Climbing Centre. Come along and learn about bouldering and indoor climbing. Entry is FREE but places are limited so booking is essential.

Following on from this lecture, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the thrills of indoor climbing on Saturday 21 January with two sessions starting at 2pm & 4pm at Aber Rocks Indoor Climbing Centre. Places limited, booking essential.

The Living Landscape Lectures will take place on the first Tuesday of each month, followed by an associated activity at a later date. For further information on lectures and activities over the next few months, visit www.visitblaenavon.co.uk.
