Form Contemporary Craft Gallery in Blaenavon are delighted to announce the Summer Showcase of one of the most respected ceramicists in the UK, Paul Young. Widely collected, this is the first time that Paul has exhibited in The Gallery and this showcase will give collectors and enthusiasts the chance to view and purchase his unique work.

Claire Wood, owner of Form Contemporary Craft and a ceramicist herself, is delighted that one of her favourite potters has agreed to exhibit in this solo show, and believes that this showcase is another example of the top designer makers that have brought their work to South Wales. “Having such high quality work coming to Blaenavon on a regular basis just goes to show how respected the Town has become. As a maker myself I am extremely passionate about the work in The Gallery and am really looking forward to sharing it with other art and craft lovers.”

The Showcase begins on 26th June (to coincide with World Heritage Day) and runs until 21st August 2010. There will be a special preview evening on 25th June from 7pm – 9pm and those interested are asked to contact the Gallery for more information.
