Singer-song writer Tobias Robertson, who featured on the 2016 season of The Voice, will play Blaenavon as part of World Heritage Day on Saturday 24 June.
Tobias, who is the great-nephew of the late Cilla Black, made it through to the battle rounds of the series in 2016 and was mentored by Boy George.
He will join a diverse line up of music and dance acts, headlined by local band, Mr Green and the Wishful Drinkin Band.
There will also be lots of stalls, food and drink, farm animals, a fun fair, and the annual Heritage Costume Parade.
This year the parade will focus on the Legends of Blaenavon, celebrating those who have played a notable part in the town’s history such as inventor Sidney Gilchrist Thomas, school mistress Sarah Hopkins, rugby legend Ken Jones OBE and author Lewis Browning.
In the run up to World Heritage Day children from Blaenavon Heritage School will be making an advert which will be screened at the Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall Cinema, as well as shown online and on screens in the World Heritage Centre.
The event takes place from 11am until 4pm.
