9. Stack Square

You are now looking at Stack Square. Stack Square and Engine Row are a set of small stone cottages built in 1780’s to house the skilled furnace workers from Blaenavon Ironworks. The cottages have recently been furnished as they would have looked through the decades. Carry on down the hill, the entrance to the Ironworks is on your right hand side.
