6. Reed Beds

You have now entered the site of a mining reclamation scheme undertaken in the mid-1990s. More recently, volunteers have planted reed beds as a new sanctuary for wildlife. Carry on along the path until you reach the end of the road at the back of the Kays and Kears industrial estate keeping the industrial units on your left. Turn right when you reach Estate Road and walk down the hill.
