Community Events

The THP Team will be supporting a number of events throughout the delivery period. The aim is to support the local community to gain knowledge and access to events and activities.

The THP Team is more than happy to attend local meetings to share information regarding this grant and its progress to date.

We are also utilising empty shops and former shop fronts to promote the area’s history and promote the work being carried out. Exhibitions are also held in local venues such as The World Heritage Centre.

The picture below shows the panels on loan from Blaenavon Community Museum, promoting the areas rich heritage as depicted in Alexander Cordell’s famous trilogy.
