1. St Peter's School

You are currently looking at St Peter's school. Built in 1816, it served the children of Blaenavon for 166 years, finally closing its doors in 1982. It reopened as the World Heritage Centre in 2008. Exit through the Heritage Centre gates and turn left up Church Road. Take the waymarked footpath on your left taking you down a steep track. Bear right towards the road and you will see Aaron Brute’s Bridge on your left.
